I'm investing time and $25 to learn more about how we feed our school kids which stretches my budget but when you consider how many Get-Bud as in beer, maybe it's not That much. Overall, more people are putting together the equation that poor food equals poor health. Diabesity is not just a term for medical people and the media..too many young people growing up on 'donuts and Dunkin' or what have you, are getting the results of said habits..diabetes on the heels of obesity, yikes!'.

Met a nice young fellow with personality and people skills in the grocery store where he was allowed to ask folks to buy make up..Quite a few takers in the 15 min I saw him. We got talking about his skills to talk to people, be friendly and polite (calling women 'Miss'). He is doing an internship and that's part of his program, selling  make up.

 While we live in sleepy kind of town, when we're reay to have fun, watch out. All the kids and even some growed-ups get into costume and put on quite a show at the Falls Village Children's Theatre or the local HoUSAtonic High School. Really, groups from both do a great job and welcome dough-nations and even donuts as one may fell led, fyi.

A cute line in Shrek the Musical is that Shrek and Donkey go together "like donuts and diabetes" which could help more folks choose not to pick up said donuts and thus steer away from a path of diabetes!

"50-Year-Olds Day" is April 10th (can you figure out why? (4x10+10)) then 51s is 5-1.

Hello AARP and all 50-Year-OIds..I have an important announcement to make..April 10th (every year) is  hereby now "50-Year-Olds" Day. The math and even concept is a bit tricky, but nothing we can't handle in these modern times.

I'll crunch the numbers for you. Forty years can be calculated as 4 x10 to get 40. April is the 4th month of the year which makes a nice time to represent 40 year olds..now count 9 days into April to represent the 41 ( on 4-1) through 49 (on 4-9), then it's easy to arrive count "50" on 4-10.

Then, on May 1st there's the date for 51 year-olds, and with May 10th being
