Resources for Your Daily, Monthly and Yearly Life Journey
List helpful resouces you have found online and in your community to help you through various ages and stages of life (for yourself and others, your kids and elders and everybuddy in-between). Of course, even when one is expecting, or at the other end of the rainbow, bidding someone goodbye in terms of relationships shifting, changing, legally or otherwise being renegotiated, yes-- including having one's heart broken or left in disarray--or with the more 'longterm separations"-- big moves or the shift to the other side of the grave whether expected or more sudden..how does one go on? What resources do you have now that you can list for a 'rainy, stormy or devastating day'?
Believing in a powerful circle of support, love and life and spirit can help take the edge off many difficult situations and transitions (think of train-sit-ons..just stay the course and ride through a stormy time of trouble, behavior or changes..stay centered think C-A-L-M through the crisis (and maybe cry, "Sis" to a sister or friend, neighbor or hotline or online resource. We are here for each other and can share the journey as one of possible paths any of us could be affected by or on given certain circumstances over time or even sudden changes. Viewing a situation analytically, as though a journalist recording the who-what-where-when-how and why can help one not over-react but rather take time to Respond with care and logic, even faith and teamwork. Not easy, but important to practice as life 'keeps happening' and the greater resources the easier to use them when needed.

That's just a start, but keep in mind to call 9-1-1 for emergencies, danger, medical needs, fire, and other urgent situations of danger, risk, harm or serious sickness. Practice first aid and fire safety as well as making PLANS to stay in touch with someone everyday about your whereabouts, or leave a note if you travel, etc so people can be in touch with you. Don't do risky things or be too spontaneous with your plans.
Live with reasonable routines for good sleep, eating regularly and socializing, working, going to school or pursuing interests. Nice to join a club or two, get to know neighbors or people in your community as feels appropriate over time. Everybuddy deserves a team of support with real people one can see, talk with, network with and work with on projects or at work or in school. Think of good programs on the radio or online that you can listen to or videos or TV shows you can see regularly to keep up with some cultural trends. Same with music, tune in.
Get creative with journaling, taking walks, making life plans and short-term goals to have support, financially and socially and even spiritually. There's a lot going on to help the plan-it in these days of dire climate change which affects the earth, the air and the oceans and water supply as well as people and plants. All hands on deck. Here's to your health, wealth and stealth when it comes to living well and with care! You matter, make a difference and have a lot to offer the world. You ARE worth it!
