Go Fund Me Helpful Resource in Times of Loss, Difficulty. Thanks for contributing as you can to this or others in need!
From a Go Fund Me Account set up for the family of Zak Dube after his sudden passing.
On May 20, 2016, Zak Dube of Riverton, CT was involved in a tragic accident. He was riding on a small motorcycle when he was hit by a truck. This vehicle then fled the scene. Zak was life-starred to Hartford hospital due to his critical status and unfortunately succumbed to his injuries the following day. Anyone who knew Zak Dube knew that he was a pillar to his family, friends, and the community. Our love for Zak cannot be put into words. He lived his life spreading positivity and optimism through his actions on a daily basis and we are hoping that everyone can follow his example. Please help us alleviate the costs of hospital bills and other related costs by donating to this fund. http://www.gofundme.com/25vjfek
Here is my response shared with some on FB:
Hard to learn about such a nice young fellow in such a tragic turn of events. Thanks for posting and hope the support helps with situation and showing the family support, much-deserved.
Let's all try to be more cautious and remember the many great perks of the the area without being in a hurry or forgetting to check for others walking, jogging, biking or riding motorcycles.
Many people with insights into life share their ideas in books or online, such as Mark Anthony and Bill Phillips (at the Sharon Library). Or Living Into Dying at the FV Hunt Library.
I think we sadly need more forums on how to deal with hard news, unexpected turns of relationships and events, and be more aware of having support teams to help anyone address such sudden or difficult transitions.
Hopefully all of Zak's friends and family can find support in their respective circles of faith, social circles and resources online or in libraries, and other resources.
The love and life he lived will continue to help the many whose lives he was part of and is now etched in our hearts as another angel needed in heaven more than earth, maybe where he can continue to inspire people to appreciate the years and seasons of their lives in deeper ways.
May he rest in peace and his family and friends pull through to feel the blessing of his life always.
