To Our Moms (and Kids) in Heaven...each season of the year. You are in Our Hearts!

Thanks to Patti Sinclair for sharing from the heart as a caring insightful person (and a person with second sight...yes a medium who can bring messages as far as it seems to many hundreds of people) from their loved ones who have crossed over. She was noting on Facebook that for many, Mother's Day can be bittersweet, whether missing a mother or child due to their passing or maybe other struggles. I chimed in with a remembrance and a bit more. Hope you feel the love she reminds us of...the underbelly side of the blessings is the pang  of change and loss of connection..This includes children miscarried and again, separated from us however. See Battered Mothers Custody Conference for updates from this weekend in DC.

In addition to sharing a birthday with another mother on Mother's Day and going to the same services at times (which is how we met), we each have lost a son in his teens. Hers became an organ donor which is something I reflected more on and realize we all need to find ways to 'make plans for the just in case scenarios'..so we could be more thoughtful and aware of what would be involved and ideally walk through that kind of choice and process with support (whatever the decision.)

For Kaelan and Kenny in heaven..and the many other offspring we know are loved and missed in the physical realm yet are close in our hearts still...Finding the words and ways to mention these things is another collective journey we can brave together with love from above.. Hugs all around and to heaven and back. Same for parents up thar, siblings, relatives and friends and 'friends we haven't met yet..." may we all feel that greater love and use it to embolden us on the next critical wave of our journey on Planet Heart, planting trees and maybe even our own bodies to return something to the earth when the time comes... rather than add to the downward spiral of pollution and land use that taxes our shrinking resources. I've taken EOLD with Suzanne O'Brien (who offers a free class online for everyone to address very basic critical matters about Advance Directives for Health Care Decisions and more.) With teamwork and planning much can be done on many levels to pave the way to a brighter future for one and all.. and may it be so
