Hula allowed at San Quentin Prison...google and my reflection

Hula 'dance' such as at https://youtu.be/oBa6X7YpbdE​ (which is surprising yet inspiring to see is allowed to happen in San Quentin prison under a federal protection to allow Native people to practice their religion with movement, song and ceremony...so it's considered a religious freedom...Worth a listen (to the chanting also).

Very inspiring for these times... maybe more Hula  or other movement meditation and appreciation for nature and community (separately but nearby or with special permission and secure time and supervision etc)could be done before school and sporting events...and

The youtube.com talk about The World's Most Famous of Near Death Experience by Mellon-Thomas Benedict and one by Jeff Olsen has enlightened my mind quite a bit. I'll try to summarize more.See his website, www.mellon-thomas.com

When hearing that someone had something stolen from the back of their truck during a short walk, a suggestion was made to let people pitch in to replace the item. The person felt most people have enough financial commitments that would not be ideal...or that others may need donations more than he did. Here's some of my reflection on the matter...to find some meaning in the strange anonymous assault.
 
Some comments begrudged character stealing the item, and likely it was done 'for no good reason...' but maybe the person was truly desperate in terms of looking to sell something of value.

 On Friday, Jan. 18th, 2019  at 1pm I am listening to Dr. Brian Mowll on a free initial online slide show and talk about 'not being able to solve the diabetes epidemic'. He shared a picture of himself at over 200 pounds and spoke of why he got motivated to improve his situation by losing weight (which he managed to let go of 50 pounds...) He tells it like it is in the mainstream medical community in terms of looking at diabetes as a chronic, intractable condition that wears a person down.
