Sounds of Summer--Outdoor Concerts, Kids Laughing, Splashing, Singing their Songs

While summer brings out the kid in everyone, it's really a grand time for children to run about on the green grass, play on swings and playgrounds, swim and even hear music outdoors or in, with time to sing along or meet the charachters of a play such as after The Little Mermaid at the Sharon Playhouse in CT or free concerts in Great Barrington MA.

Falls Village CT is famous for the inspirnig Music Mountain Classical Music Concerts (aired on www.npr.org) and now other offerings as well.

Someone all knew and as far as we know, loved...Robin Williams, may his soul be at peace and his passing remind all to ask for help early and often.

While so many say 'there are no words', it seems to me, that we need to watch that sign of shock and despair and seek as we can to find ways to light candles of hope, healing and heartfelt feelings and words to encourage ourselves and one another to stay strong in the storm, when facing an abyss, to process 'what the heck has happened'.

The moment of 'finding-out' seems as harsh as the moment of someone's life ending, but really it is 'over' and the experience of learning about what happened is not as devastating as the fact that it happened.

The short introductory videos on www.mindmatterhypnosis.com offer important ideas for our times and specifically for all people, particularly those looking for non-invasive ways to address any health or life issues in short, practical sessions. The director of a training is offering a course in October 2014 and likely not another until next year. I spoke with her and she feels I could handle the extensive weeklong training based on my experiences and interest.

After seeing a stellar performance of Peter Pan at the Warner Theatre in Torrington, and Spring Awakening in Sharon (note the comment section of the blog for coverage of taboo topics in the play and our current world), I was invited along with thousands online but with a hundred others showing up to see Dan Malloy at the Cornwall Town Hall.

While the nature scene on the small stage behind him was set for the Grumbling Gyphons show of Pinocchio(and maybe that's an reminder to all of  US to be as honest as possible, given a situation but of course in politics and serious decision making like
