Hello Big World of Cyber Buds, How's your Monday after Thanksgiving unfolding? I found an hour to listen to Alan Seid who shared online about how amicably he and his former wife Trish worked out a legal divorce and co-parenting plan in the Northwestern part of the US of A which I like to refer to as the US of A-Miracle.

To summarize, after marrying in their early 20s and having marriage and children in the next 20 years, they felt they needed to separate due to different visions for their lives emerging. The lack of drama would hardly make the celebrity tabloids, but theirs deserves a movie so people can see the possibilities for living amicably as a couple and doing so apart.

They like many people still live near each other and allow for flexibility with childcare. Now I am sure plenty of people would say that's not 'divorced enough' or 'clear and separate enough' boundaries since they eat together 5 nights a week and each only have a day off on the weekends, meaning the kids are still with both of them almost daily. I like the idea yet know it'd be a lot for most to work in that way.

But he offers many insights about non-violent communication, collaborative divorce, coaching and mediation. I know in the past he shared programs on communication and even on managing finances (which I wrote about on this blog too, but go to www.cascadiaworkshops.com to see his latest and greatest, including blog posts.)

Next up on my email, the Bluehost Cyber Monday special spoke to me. I didn't set up my website so I hardly felt qualified to ask the right questions and whether there'd be a deal I should take advantage of. I didn't know if I would be duped since I'm a newbie to the tech world..but it is my baby, I mean blog and  website, so why not Check It Out? I called the support line 855-984-4546 and got asking a friendly patient fellow my questions. I had to get an email from them to confirm I was legit in terms of making an inquiry and adding time to the site which I did do...yes, to the tune of almost 130 dollars but that includes 3 more years (past 2019 when it was due to be renewed or dissolved...)

He did explain I could make up a Back Up Copy of my blog by downloading into a file and making a zipfolder. That in turn could possibly be used to upload to wordpress or thereabouts. For another 150 for a month (just one) I likely could be walked through what to do to make a word press account. Maybe someone in my circles can help me with that. The historic stumbling block may be that my blog Used to be hosted by Drupal which is a particular style that does not translate easily. I still may need to put One Post After Another on another site...or just continue from here and let that money pay for the www.livfully.org to have a pulse for the Next four years.

That said, it would be cool to have more time to figure out the options for me with this blog, maybe have Guest Bloggers (whose feeling called, maybe using a pen name if you have things to say and share you don't want to put your name to...which is what I had wanted to do back in the day..and still may if it mattered more..and given the way world is going (not necessarily in a good way), Everything Matters Much More than Back in the Day...

Okay, so I am Very Happy and Excited that I was able to find a friend in the Cyber World to Keep this ol' blog up and running. I hope to get fine-tuning things and allow for some posts to be e-books which could be sold or thereabouts with nice formatting, headers and all that jazzarola. Designrr got me inspired but someone said I could do all that for less. Still when someone is walking a newbie through and it works that may be worth it. It's also been a year or so.

I have signed up for far more programs than I can listen to whether for free or a fee, so this year I want to do an inventory. Some coaches have shared that they don't look at anyone's offers if they are not seeking them out initially. That seemed strange since this is the world of get to know the territory, what's being said and whose doing what to assess where one's skills fit in and help find one's niche. Yet they also have their circles and sometimes pay and wheel and deal to help each other,so part of it was a time factor.

I will keep chugging along with some search for a program I am going to this weekend..yet need to find the email with the address or contact the organizers another way. Always helpful to review details well in advance and have a travel plan etc. I did notice it's a free weekend but there's an offer for a pricier program. Coaches have said to be Aware if you are going to Free programs that are mainly a sales pitch for other products and programs.

Not that that's All Bad, if people are able to make progress with personal and professional goals, it's likley a fair deal..especially if one has the means and a team of support to help make decisions. Run things by Debtors Anonymous sponsors..I need to learn about that group and am grateful for all the online banking that tracks spending. Those tips from books about managing your money (Your Money or Your Life I think is the title of one good one I meant to read cover to cover. Now there's mint.com for a budget tool as well. )

As with funds, managing time is also a good skill. Taking time to learn NVC may be a win-win for the world over and there is a free online course that runs for a year, as well as many books. Alan Seid has good materials on this also, downloadable programs. Make sure your computer can handle the amount of downloads you make on the hard drive, etc. Back up can be done on CDs I think but I am no expert.

That's why I am reminding myself and any who need to hear it... Learn about What Your Computer Can Handle, Fees for running a computer, having a back up done or how to do those and more of course. Knowing What Questions to Ask is an evolving science. The amount of data may be endless to the nth degree, so processing the information and letting it inform our lives in meaningful, helpful and creative ways is key. I heard that on an NPR talk the other day, 11-26-17.

I feel I was hearing the jist of that back in the 1980s at Vassar where they said the world would be changing so much we would need to know how to think on our feet and figure out new directions for topics we hadn't heard of...and of course, how to ask pertinent questions, draw insights and make connections. I may seem Way out in Left Field, as in putting a few too many topics in a post or allowing ideas to flow more randomly than is generally polite in print or public, but it's all part of the creative and endeavoring process for me..Happy rest of November 2017 and enjoy the deals as they come along to benefit yourself and others..We're worth it!
