The following was printed in the Lakeville Journal CT March 1, 2018. I also added many other points.Thanks for all sharing in their circles to help more people become aware of 'bigger picture and dynamics' that affect us all. We need to understand our societal patterns and the silencing of victims and voices for advocacy that have deep roots in many systems.

 

Slowly we are waking up and perhaps by fighting these 'smaller meaningful matters' we will wake up in time to consider the larger pressing issues for us as a species. Consider also seeing talks by Barbara Marciniak on youtube.com.

As I was heading to a special little church service (psst, in falls village ct also known as canaan ct, not north canaan or new canaan so don't trust your GPS to get you there for a 10 am service some Sunday...) I had an idea come to me about calling contra dances after learning that there will be a workshop in Sheffield on March 10th and 11th to help people learn to call dances.

Check out Sheffield Contra Dances at Dewey Hall for more info on that. I got to take a program along those lines about two decades ago in West Virginia at the Augusta Festival of all places.

I am trying to stay informed about this w"One"derful region (Region One in CT, the northwest corner which serves six towns and a regional high school.. The Principal of Housatonic is leaving at the end of the year in June 2018 to have more time with his family. Meanwhile there's trouble in Camelot and I shared the following on FB..and after spending two years in Brooklyn NY don't want anyone to give up hope..There ARE really cool people on the planet and lots of wannabees.

Where to Begin (often hard to know til it's serious...) but Let's Try to Talk About It!

Hello All (to family and friends but now my wider circles)..Not the easiest topic or title but the overall idea is that one person is very connected to others..and the pain for others can be very difficult if one is despairing or taking extreme measures to end their internal suffering or cope with difficult emotions.
 
 The overall idea to take good care of oneself with a sense of support whether online or hotlines, information or talking with people in one's community, circle and family is one that is shared as well.
